The Surah Muzammil or
The Opening of the Mouth in Arabic is an introduction to the world of Islam, a
Book of Answers. It is an introduction to Islam. This book is not written in
English and can only be understood in Arabic.
The book is divided
into chapters or sections. The opening of the mouth is presented in Surah
an-Nisa, also known as Al-Fatiha. In this section is discussed why Muslims are
made to eat with their hands. This is a warning against eating pork. It is also
said that by doing so the child will be shielded from all the evils and curses
mentioned in the Holy Book of Islam.
Surah Kahf is one of
the seven chapters of the Qur'an. The chapter begins with the saying of the
Prophet peace be upon him: "In the name of God, the Compassionate, the
Merciful". Surah Kahf is one of the Seven Tables of Kitab or the seven
Books of Chronicles. This is the introduction to the Al-Kitab of Surah Kahf,
which is an anthology of verses from the Holy Book of Islam.
Surah Kahf was
revealed to the Prophet peace be upon him while he was fasting. The Verse tells
him to be strong during his fast. The fast was intended to prepare him for his
mission. The fasting is a lesson for the believers of how to live in unity with
Allah.
Surah As-Sajdah is one
of the thirty-six chapters of the Holy Qur'an. This chapter is a chapter of
praises to Allah. The Quran itself has one hundred and twenty-two Surah muzammil. This is a time
honored tradition of reciting Surah As-Sajdah at night before retiring to bed.
It is one of the most important chapters in the Qur'an.
Surah Al-Falaq is one
of the eighty-three chapters of the Holy Qur'an. The chapter states the duties
of a Muslim towards his or her father, mother, daughter and wife. The daughters
are to be treated with kindness and reverence. If a woman has children or a
husband, it is recommended that she ask Allah to bless and strengthen her
husband.
Surah Fussilatul-Kahf
is another of the chapters of the Holy Qur'an. This chapter was revealed to the
Prophet peace be upon him in Makkah when he was ordered to bring food for his
companion, Ayesha. It was to serve as an example of religious generosity.
Surah Buraim is one of
the chapters of the Holy Qur'an. This chapter teaches the believer to be
generous. Giving is a benefit to the society and to the Muslim as well. The
verse is one of the factors to learn generosity.
